How To Join Our "Local Investor Network"

Do you invest in real estate in Coweta/Fayette county? Are you interested in meeting others in the area?
In a recent conversation with a couple other local investors, the subject came up that it would be great if some of us could get together once in a while to talk, trade stories, network and maybe learn a little from each other.
Since that time I've talked to several other local investors that feel the same way. That being the case, I went ahead and scheduled a date and time to do exactly that.
Our very first "Local Investor Network" meeting is scheduled for Saturday April 12th at a local restaurant here in Newnan, Ga..
This first meeting is free to attend (so your sure to get your moneys worth)! All I ask is that you buy your own buffet breakfast while there (about $8.50) so we keep the restaurant manager happy in case we want to come back next month.
And be sure to contact me to let me know you'd like to attend since seating is going to be limited to room size.
Actually, you'll have to contact me to attend since I'm leaving out the exact time and place of the meeting until I hear from you (sneaky, yes I know ... but necessary since we want to be sure this is a good "investor group meeting" and not a "sales seminar").
What will we talk about at the meeting? This first meeting is primarily to meet each other, eat a little, talk a little and discuss what's going on in our local market.
When it comes to real estate, there's plenty to talk about: Finding houses, renting them out, selling, rehabbing, financing, working with contractors, protecting assets, managing tenants, taxes, useful resources, real estate attorneys, agents, appraisers, deals you have, deals you want (and all those other things my wife is tired of hearing about)!
As far as future meeting dates, that's a another topic to address at this first meeting. What days / times work best for YOU?
We'll do our best to set dates and times that accommodate the greatest number of people. This first meeting is on a Saturday but future meetings could be on a weeknight if that's what most prefer.
